Corn with Moong dal Kosambari (Salad)

Every day while packing lunch, I try out different salads for my hubby, this is one among them.

Soak moong dal for 1-1/2 hrs, and drain water.

Add corn to it, say about 1 cup moong dal and 1/2 cup corn.

Add salt and mix well. Temper with mustard and green chillies, curry leaves and pinch of asafoetida.

Add 1/2 table spoon lemon juice Mix well.

One is not diet conscious can add grated coconut also.
