Ambode which is all time favourite of all.
Which is made of chana dal and moong dal.
Ingredients:
Chana dal: 1cup.
Moong dal:1cup.
Coriander leaves chopped.
Curry leaves,
Asafoetida 1/4 tea spoon.
Green chillies according to the spice required, chopped.
Ginger 1" chopped.
Oil for deep frying and salt to taste.
Make it this way:
Soak both dals for 2-3 hrs and drain water, grind it not too smooth, Mix coriander leaves, chilles, Asafoetida, curry leaves, ginger (even u can grind ginger and chilles and curry leaves) add salt mix it well.
take ball like portions and deep fry.
Serve with chutney.
mmm... looks so tempting... are these the same as vadas?
